Tom Campbell is general manager of Space Antennas and Structures for Harris Corporation’s Space and Intelligence Systems segment. Space and Intelligence Systems offers complete Earth observation, weather, geospatial, space protection, and intelligence solutions from advanced sensors and payloads, ground processing, and information analytics.

Campbell, who joined Harris in 2000, is responsible for all aspects of a multicustomer, multi-technology space antennas business area, including business strategy, new business pursuits, program execution, and customer relationships. His business area provides key enabling payload and antennas capabilities to the U.S. Department of Defense, NASA, commercial enterprises, and the international community.

Campbell assumed his current position within Harris in 2017. Previously, he was director of Innovation, responsible for cultivating ideas to equip Harris’ Space and Intelligence Systems business for the future with innovative and/or disruptive offerings. Prior positions included Space Antennas business development manager, engineering manager, and project leader and mechanical designer of precision deployable space structures.

Campbell serves as a board member to Applied Kilovolts and is a council member for the Florida High Tech Corridor. He has served on the AIA Engineering Management Council and the Florida State Mechanical Engineering Advisory Board.

He has a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Michigan.
