Professor at UPC (Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya) since 2006. Fellow Researcher of CTTC (since 2001) with strong background in physical layer techniques for wireless communications and experience in European projects.

PROJECTS and PUBLICATIONS:
Research field is in signal processing applied to wireless and satellite communications. She has been the leader of 29 projects and has participated in over 40. She is author of 60 journal papers and more than 250 conference papers (50 invited). She is author of 1 book and 6 book chapters and 8 patents. From 2008-2016 she was member of EURASIP BoD (European Signal Processing Association) and from 2010-16 of IEEE SPTM (Signal Processing Theory and Methods), both by election. She has been guest editor in 5 special issues and associate editor of the IEEE Transactions on Signal Processing and EURASIP Advances in Signal Processing. She has been the general chairman of IWCLD’09, EUSIPC’11, EW’14, IWSCS’14 and ASMS/SPSC’16. She has been elected IEEE Director-at-large for Region 8 of the Signal Processing Society (2017-2018), and member of the Board of Governors of IEEE Signal Processing Society.
