Speaker: Updating Government Satellite Service Models

David Bair was appointed to the post of Chief Technical Officer in July 2010.

Prior to joining Eutelsat, David was Senior Vice President of Space Programmes and Operations at EchoStar Communications Corporation.

This followed executive posts at Lockheed Martin Commercial Space Systems where he was Vice President and Chief Engineer of commercial space programmes.

David has an undergraduate degree in physics from the US Naval Academy and holds the equivalent of a graduate degree in Nuclear Propulsion Engineering through the US Navy. He served as a submarine officer following graduation.
