Sergy Mummert leads the Business Development Americas department of SES, which in collaboration with the other SES departments develops expansion satellite capacity; new build-to-suit (or custom) payloads; and other growth initiatives for the Americas region. In addition, he manages the relationship with DISH Network and Echostar as well as the commercial aspects of Ciel Satellite (SES’s Canadian affiliate) and QuetzSat SRL (SES’s Mexican affiliate).

Prior to joining SES in 2002, Mr. Mummert held various Business Development roles, with over 12 years of experience, including: Manager, Business Development-Hughes Aircraft Company; Senior Manager, Business Development - Direct TV International, Inc., and Co-founder/Director of Business Development for Astrolink International LLC. Mr. Mummert holds a B.A. in International Commerce from San Diego State University and a Master's of International Management from the Thunderbird School of Global Management.
