Richard Mortellaro, a satellite industry veteran for more than 25 years, is the Senior Vice President of Satellite Services responsible for all sales, marketing, and FSS business development activities. Prior to joining EchoStar, Mortellaro served in sales and marketing leadership positions at Telesat / Loral Skynet / Loral Orion / Orion as Vice President of Global Sales and later as Vice President of International Sales and at Intelsat as Broadcast Sales Director. Mortellaro began his sales and marketing career in commercial broadcasting where he served as promotion producer and later as promotion director. Mortellaro earned a Master of Arts degree in Communications from the University of New Orleans (Louisiana) and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from Loyola University (New Orleans, Louisiana).
