Diederik Kelder joined LeoSat as Chief Strategy Officer in September 2015 and overseas all of LeoSat’s corporate and business development activities.
Prior to joining LeoSat Diederik worked in Singapore from 2008 to 2014 where he served as Vice President Business Development Asia for SES, a position he held following the acquisition of New Skies Satellites by SES. Diederik joined New Skies in 1999 where he was responsible for Business Planning and Strategy.
From 1997 to 1998 Diederik Kelder worked as Business Consultant in the Information, Communication and Entertainment (ICE) unit of KPMG in Amstelveen, The Netherlands. Assignments included: business process redesign for television advertising unit of major European media group, 3G license auction strategy formulation for Telco, and international benchmark of performance and budget of National Regulatory Authority.
From 1992 to 1997 Diederik Kelder worked as Marketing Manager for Eutelsat, a satellite company based in Paris, France.
Diederik Kelder graduated with a Master’s degree in Physics from Utrecht University in The Netherlands. While at University Diederik Kelder carried out an internship in the United Nations Office of Outer Space Affairs in New York, USA.
Diederik Kelder is a Netherlands national.
