Speaker: The Space-Based Cloud: A New Dimension For Cybersecurity

Raymond Richards is a Program Manager in DARPA's Information Innovation Office. He is the Program Manager for the Cyber Assured Systems Engineering (CASE) and Automated Rapids Certification Of Software (ARCOS) Programs. CASE is developing cutting-edge methods and tools for the creation of systems that are inherently resilient to cyber-attacks. ARCOS will apply data analytics to assurance evidence to develop arguments that software is fit for use. Dr. Richards was previously with Rockwell Collins Advanced Technology Center. Where he led a research group whose focus was cyber security, information assurance and automated analysis. As a researcher at Rockwell Collins he advanced the state of the art in the verification of security critical systems. His work facilitated the NSA certification of a proprietary microprocessor and the NIAP evaluation of a commercial Real-Time Operating System (RTOS).
