Rockville, MD. – Tuesday, December 12, 2017 – SATELLITE Conference & Exhibition, the largest global satellite and space technology show, will be held March 12-15, 2018 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington D.C. This is the second year SATELLITE 2018 will be partnering with the Space Frontier Foundation to host Startup Space, a competition where entrepreneurs pitch their business and technology ideas to a panel of highly accomplished space professionals, investors, thought leaders, and fellow entrepreneurs. And it all takes place on the show floor! The event is open to any of the 14,500 Exhibit Hall attendees.
Only twenty lucky applicants will be chosen to give a five-minute pitch for their company or product in front of a panel of judges followed by a five-minute period during which judges will ask questions or make comments to the contestants. The grand prize winner will receive:
