Rob Cerbone leads Intelsat’s Media Services business. He is responsible for the development of Intelsat’s linear and non-linear media strategy, product development and execution of Intelsat’s media initiatives worldwide.

Mr. Cerbone has more than 22 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. Prior to joining Intelsat in 2017, he worked for Time Warner Cable (TWC) where he held a number of senior leadership positions over 10 years.

He most recently served as TWC’s Vice President and General Manager for Wireless Products. In that position, he led the team responsible for the strategy, planning, development, deployment and lifecycle management of TWC’s wireless products and services – including Home WiFi and TWCWiFi™. He also was responsible for overseeing the company’s relationship with Verizon Wireless.

Before joining TWC, Mr. Cerbone worked with Nextel Communications (later Sprint) in their Innovative Technologies organization, leading the evaluation of next-generation content and media platforms for 4G and converged wireless networks. Prior to Nextel, he worked for an early-stage venture capital fund targeting companies developing communications software and services.

He began his career in management consulting with Arthur Andersen and PricewaterhouseCoopers, working on a broad range of consulting engagements in the telecommunications, media and entertainment industries.

Mr. Cerbone completed the Cable Executive Management Program at Harvard Business School. He earned a Master’s in Business Administration in Finance from the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland and has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the A. James Clark School of Engineering at the University of Maryland.
