Guillermo began his maritime telecommunications career at Royal Caribbean in 1997 in the IT department. He worked for American Express, Electronic Data Systems (EDS), and Norwegian Cruise lines before joining Maritime Telecommunications Network (MTN). He spent 15 years at MTN as Senior Director of Global Operations, where he helped grow the company that pioneered VSAT communications to cruise ships in to one of the largest service providers in the maritime industry. Today he is back at Royal Caribbean as Director of Network and Satellite Engineering where he oversees end to end ship and shore network and satellite connectivity for all Royal Caribbean brands.
