Selected Professional Accomplishments of Note
• Developed the total solution Indonesian FutureStar Mobile Satellite Service (MSS) GEO program from scratch. The program will serve high-value, secure connectivity requirements across many market verticals to include; Commercial, Government, and Defense applications.
• Co-founded and built Orbital Sciences, the first commercial small (lightsat) geostationary satellite manufacturer, and developed the Star spacecraft concept.
• Built the Indonesian national DBS Pay Television program (IndoVision) from concept through turn-key launch and operation including technical, regulatory, and operations.
• Pioneered the commercialization of Digital Audio Broadcasting and Digital Audio Radio Service (DAB/DARS). Developed some of the first DAB system designs.
• Built Indonesia's first nationwide digital voice and data network, based on advanced 240 Mbps satellite Transponder Hopping TDMA technology.
• Designed and built China’s first voice & data satellite networks and developed the first Chinese-Canadian telecommunication technology transfer program.
• Designed and built Taiwan’s first satellite voice and data networks.
• Designed and built the US government Consolidated Space Operations Center global secure network.
