Andreas Lindenthal has been appointed as Member of the Executive Committee of OHB System AG in March 2014. In October 2014, he became responsible for all programs of the company as Chief Operating Officer. This responsibility encompasses all satellite and space programs in Bremen, Oberpfaffenhofen, and Salem and include the business fields Earth Observation, Space Science, Navigation Systems, Space Exploration, Human Space Flight, Meteorology, Reconnaisance Programs, and Launchers. In addition to this responsibility, he directly leads the supporting functions of Marketing & Sales, PA/QA, Business Industrialization, Corporate Strategy, and others. His responsibility covers programs for the European Space Agency, such as Meteosat Third Generation, Exomars, and for the European Commission, such as Galileo Space Segment, and for German National Authorities in case of ENMAP, SARah. Commercial customers are international satellite operators like Hispasat or SES.
Andreas Lindenthal has extensive experience in the space sector and hold international management positions in the area of satellite systems, space equipment business as well as satellite engineering & AIT. He has been appointed to participate in various supervisory boards and advisory boards. He is located in Bremen and Munich.
