Speaker: Finding a Pathway to On-Orbit Servicing

Tahara Dawkins serves as the Chief of Staff of the National Space Council within the Office of the Vice President. Having started in January 2022, her work centers on bridging the many National Space Council goals effectively and with a human-centric lens to ensure the Council reaches its fullest potential. Prior to coming to OVP, Tahara was the Director of the Commercial Remote Sensing Regulatory Affairs Office in the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) within the U.S. Department of Commerce. For 20 years, Tahara has been intimately involved in space policy and the policy, security, and market issues related to commercial remote sensing.
