Maher Ezzeddine is a distinguished leader in aerospace and sustainability, currently spearheading ideanco, a crowdsourcing strategy firm acclaimed for its innovative approach since 2013. As CEO, Maher has skillfully merged cutting-edge strategies with sustainable practices, significantly impacting the aerospace and sustainability sectors. Additionally, his role as Chairman of the Harvard Aerospace and Defense Alumni Organization exemplifies his commitment to bridging academia with the aerospace and defense industries.

Under Maher’s guidance, ideanco has established vital trusted partnerships with organizations such as the bilateral and multilateral organizations of the United Nations, the UAE Ministry of Climate Change, and other key government entities. These collaborations focus on projects in innovation and championing other projects in electrification and sustainable mobility. Maher’s tenure at Mubadala’s Yahsat and Thuraya in Abu Dhabi is marked by his strategic acumen in international business development, notably establishing trust, strategic relationships and growing secure and reliable satellite communications for government entities, including the US Department of Defense.

Recognized for his leadership and adherence to high ethical standards, Maher received the Harvard Business School recognition in 2018, an honor reflecting his dedication to Harvard’s alumni and his exceptional leadership abilities. In the same year, he was also honored by the Government of Canada, acknowledging his significant contributions and representation at the ‘World Summit AI’ in Amsterdam.

As a Harvard Business School Alumni, Maher is furthering his expertise by pursuing a Doctorate in Human & Organizational Learning at George Washington University.
