Brian Pemberton is the Vice President and General Manager for Iridium Communications Inc., the world’s only truly global satellite communications company. In this role, he is responsible for ensuring the success of Iridium’s quickly growing aviation business; leading strategic initiatives, evolving distribution and marketing strategy while advancing the product and services portfolio for each market. He is also leading the company’s broadband initiative, Iridium CertusSM, which will provide unprecedented mobile satellite services for Aviation, Maritime and Terrestrial customers.
Mr. Pemberton has more than 20 years of experience in global wireless communications. He holds a Master of Business Administration from the Johns Hopkins Carey Business School and a Bachelor’s of Science degree in electrical engineering from Virginia Tech University.
