Ali R. Mohadjer is currently the President & CEO of SatWays Inc. as well as its subsidiary, Network Service Solutions, LLC (NSS). With over 30 years of telecom experience, Mohadjer has built a vast and in-depth portfolio of expertise in the areas of Application development, business operations, engineering, network design and implementation of network and customer service in satellite communication industry.

Since 2004, Mohadjer has built customer centric companies, that provide customized and thought leading solution offerings which have served VSAT market leaders including Hughes, Gilat, ViaSat, World Bank, Globalcom, PRIMEDIA, General Electric, Gas Natural, United States government agencies, Carnival, and several Oil & Gas corporations. Mohadjer’s companies, SatWays and NSS, are known most for broadband services, outsourcing, and consulting for providing solutions to implementation and contractual challenges.

Prior to 2004, Mohadjer spent over 16 years at Hughes Network Systems where he led multiple business and technological modernizations. Mohadjer led the shared-hub global expansion deployments into Europe, Asia, the Middle East and Americas. Mohadjer served as the COO of satellite disaster recovery which included service restoration of over hundred thousand remotes. Mohadjer also led the deployment of the largest video network with tens of thousands of IRDs.

Mohadjer has been the recipient of globally recognized awards including the annual Broadcaster Award from the International Broadcasting Association. Mohadjer received his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering from the University of the District of Columbia in 1981.

• Chair, Advisory Committee for the School of Electrical Engineering at the University of District of Columbia
• Advisory Council Member, University of Maryland Extension
