Guillermo Muñiz is a recognized leader in maritime telecommunications with over 25 years of experience transforming onboard connectivity for the cruise industry. As Chief Operating Officer at OmniAccess, a Marlink Group company, he drives innovation in satellite and network solutions that power seamless connectivity at sea for superyachts and cruise ships.

Previously, during his five years at Royal Caribbean as Director of Satellite and Network Engineering, Guillermo executed the first MEO deployment in cruise service and laid the groundwork for the industry’s first installations of Starlink in cruise, ushering in a new era of low-latency connectivity on cruise ships.

During his 15-year tenure at Maritime Telecommunications Network (MTN), he played a pivotal role in pioneering VSAT communications, Wi-Fi, and internet cafés, serving over 90% of the cruise market—including industry giants such as Carnival Corporation, Royal Caribbean Group, Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings, MSC, and the rest of the cruise line industry.
