Speaker: Energy, Industry and Mining: Serving New Big Data-Driven Markets

Ronald van der Breggen, Chief Commercial Office of Rivada Space Networks, has more than 20 years of experience in the telecom and satellite sectors and is the author of many industry related opinion pieces as published in ViaSatellite and SpaceWatch Global. A native of the Netherlands, van der Breggen began his telecom career at Dutch Telecom incumbent KPN and KPNQwest, rising to the position of VP IP Services where he was initially responsible for network roll-out and later commercial development. He then joined SES, one of the world’s leading satellite operators as Vice President Customer Account Management, globally in charge of service fulfillment and customer care across the entire SES fleet. From 2015 to 2019 he served as Chief Commercial Officer of LeoSat. Ronald holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Nijenrode University as well as a Master’s degree in Business Telecommunications from the Technical University of Delft, both in the Netherlands.
