Kathleen Ulrich, MS, BSN, RN, NEA-BC, is a dedicated healthcare professional with a wealth of experience in perioperative and procedural services. She holds a Master of Science from Iona College and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the College of New Rochelle. Kathleen has had the privilege of working at several respected institutions, including Duke University Health System, where she served as Assistant Vice President of Nursing, Perioperative Services. In this capacity, Kathleen was responsible for overseeing 106 operating rooms across three hospitals. She was instrumental in the development of the Surgical Care Unit in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), expanding operating room capacities, and supporting the implementation of innovative programs such as the Preoperative Optimization Clinic.
In January 2023, Kathleen joined Tampa General Hospital as the Senior Vice President of Surgical and Procedural Services. In this role, she continues to leverage her experience to oversee surgical and procedural operations, ensuring high standards of clinical care and regulatory compliance. Kathleen is known for her strategic leadership, ability to foster collaborative environments, and commitment to improving patient outcomes.
