Speaker: Increasing Engagement of Surgical Technologists: Tech it to the Next Level

Taneka Curtis currently is the Nurse Manager at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Taneka has twenty-two years of clinical experience with a primary focus on Cardiac Surgery. She has been in this role of nurse manager since 2020 and has responsibility for the Cardiac, Vascular, and Transplant Service Lines. She also is the Nursing Leadership liaison to both shared governance groups on the unit: the Surgical Technologist Committee and the Unit Council. She is dedicated to advancing the care provided to Perioperative patients.
