Dr. Alex Warman is the Administrator of Perioperative Business Services at Lehigh Valley Health Network, now part of Jefferson Health System. He has been with the Network for 23 years and has oversight of business operations for Perioperative Services including fiscal management, revenue capture, data analytics, budget development, and resource/surgical block utilization.

As a highly adept healthcare leader, Alex has operationally interfaced with multiple newly acquired health systems. His skills and advanced understanding of perioperative operations includes managing financial performance of over three billion in gross charges per year and over three hundred million in labor and supply expense. In addition, he has set up centralized scheduling, billing, and data analytics for over 15 hospital locations. This includes designing and implementing active management dashboards to aid in moving beyond traditional reporting styles to implement real-time monitoring that detect opportunities before they affect financial performance or patient outcomes.

Alex has a BA in Music and Anthropology as well as a Pre-Medical Concentration from the College of the Holy Cross. He received his MBA from DeSales University in Healthcare Systems Management and obtained his Doctorate in Business Management focusing on Health Management at Liberty University. His doctoral research focused on the lack of governance and standardization regarding artificial intelligence and data analytics in healthcare resulting in bias, lack of transparency and patient malpractice. On a side note, Alex is a member of the American Federation of Musicians and has played the cello for over 30 years across the country.
