Sue Seitz, MSN, RN,CNOR, is a Clinical Nurse Specialist for Perioperative Services at Doctors Hospital in Augusta Georgia and has been a perioperative nurse for 40 years working in a variety of settings including level 1 trauma center, outpatient surgery, and labor and delivery. She has lectured nationally, state-wide, and locally on a variety of topics including research, evidence based practice, simulation, lateral violence, and humor. Sue has been active in AORN at the national, state, and local level. She is the 2016 recipient of the AORN Outstanding Clinical Nurse Educator Award and also received the Palmetto Gold award from the state of South Carolina. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau.
