Veronica Petersen, DNP, CNOR, NE-BC, is Assistant Vice President of Perioperative Services at Northwell Health System in New York. She has oversight of the perioperative areas for the 21 hospitals in the health system and performs consultations related to leadership, teamwork, throughput, and best practices. She also supervises OR and perianesthesia education. Veronica is a member of Sigma Theta Tau, ASPAN, and AORN and has spoken at the ASPAN, AORN and OR Manager/PACU Summit conferences on topics related to "Bullying and Incivility", "Building Highly Effective Teams" and "Effective Leadership in Perioperative Services".
