Speaker: The Nitty Gritty of Sterile Processing Departments: The Experts Speak

Miranda Woods, MS, BSN, RN, NE-BC has 20 years of experience in surgical services. She is currently system Director of Patient Care Services for the Institute for Nursing at Norton Healthcare. She serves as the surgical clinical expert for the system surgical supply chain team, represents the system as the surgical representative at hiring, recruiting, and community student outreach events, and manages, coordinates, and assists in developing new programs intended to fulfill the perioperative workforce need. She obtained her BSN from Ohio University, her Master’s degree from University of Kentucky and is currently a doctoral candidate at Bellarmine University.
