Mary Jo Steiert has been a practicing perioperative nurse for 30+ years. Mary Jo is a diploma graduate from Mercy Hospital School of Nursing in Denver, Colorado and attending Regis University in Denver. She has worked in a variety of staff and leadership roles in the perioperative settings, both in hospital and ambulatory settings. Currently she is consulting in perioperative leadership and attending classes to further her education.
Passionate about the profession of perioperative nursing, Mary Jo has been involved in professional organizations, such as AORN, during her entire career holding leadership positions at local and national levels.
