Janet Duran, DNP,MHSA,MSN, ST, LNC RN is the perioperative Director at Fairview hospital a member of the Cleveland Clinic Enterprise hospitals. Duran has received numerous accolades during her over 35 year career including recognition from Leadership Lorain County, March of Dimes Perioperative Director of the year for Ohio and the Kevin Martin Leadership award for outstanding achievement in Leadership. She has spent over 20 years as an OR Director in a community hospital setting, free standing ambulatory surgery setting Level 1 and 2 Trauma center as well as large hospital systems over seeing multiple sites. Duran has had podium presentations at national conferences such as AORN and SGNA and has published in the book A Guide to Mastery in Clinical Nursing a section on Surgical Patient safety.
