Instructor: Employing a Multi-Phased Approach to Improve OR Utilization

Tracey is the Director of Surgical Services at Hendrick Medical Center since 2015. In her role, she manages the activities of 140 employees and is responsible for reporting to the OR Governance group statistical information. Other notable roles that Tracey served in her career are; Director of Surgical Services at Texas Health Resources HEB (2012-2015), Administrative Director at Texas Midwest Surgery Center (2000-2009), and Operating Room Nurse at Hendrick Medical Center (1980-1989). She holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from Chamberlain University, is a Certified Nurse in the Operating Room (CNOR) and a Nurse Executive Advanced (NEA-BC). Tracey is married, has two daughters, and 4 grandchildren. Her hobbies include pilates and shopping.
